Description
Application
Globe valve (V 46.2) or a valve for rough control (V 40.2) with linear characteristics designed for water, steam, gas and other operation liquids used in power engineering, chemical industry and nuclear power plants depending on the selection of the ma- terial of the body. Designed for standard, tropical, explosive and seismic environments.
Field of application
The control valves do not allow pressure gradient (i.e. differ- ence between pressures on input and output end) of more than 5 MPa.
The globe valves only allow open-closed positions, without the possibility to stop in an intermediate position.
Technical description
The valve body is a die forging with a separate body and a cast yoke. The seat is welded in the body using a hard welding alloy. The plug and the stem are integrated, plug seat hard faced. The gland is made of asbestos-free material. Flanges are welded to the body in case of the flange type valves.
Operation The valves are operated by hand wheel, electric actuator (also for seismic requirements), via bevel gear and with direct re- mote control. Electric actuator for controlling of control valves is fitted with a brake. Hand wheel valves may be fitted by locking mechanism.Sketches for orientation only, exact dimensions of given points can be specified upon request
Testing
The valves are pressure tested with water (upon client request even by steam) for strength, impermeability, peration ability and for tightness according to operating parameters and mate- rial of the body. Minimum strength testing pressure is 1,5 fold of PN.
Installation
The valves may be installed in any position with the flow di- rection under the plug, in case of the globe valves also above the plug.
Connection
Flanged and butt-welded as per CSN, DIN, ANSI, GOST stand- ards.
The valves may also be delivered with electric actuators sup- plied by the manufacturers ZPA Pečky, Regada, AUMA, Rotork, Schiebel and others.
